About Us

In 2008, we finalized our adoption of our son from Russia. We are now in the process of adopting a daughter (and possibly a sibling) from the U.S.

We welcome  donations to help cover the costs of our adoption.  You can donate to our Adoption Fund by clicking button that says “Donate.” If you don’t have a Paypal account, choose “Don’t have a PayPal account?” at the bottom left of the form and you’ll still be able to donate without one.  There are also links on our blog so that you can buy products to help support our adoption fund, such as baby blankets, books, etc.  If you would like to receive our mailing address, please leave a comment on this blog and I will forward it to you.
And if you give, thank you!

Heather, Alan and Colin

We are so happy that you finally have Colin. We
know it is a blessing to have him with you now.
Maybe it will not be long until we will get the
pleasure of meeting him too. We wish the best
and hope to see you soon.

    Hello Heather …
I have been following your blog. I attend church at Mt. Hermon and also know your parents. Almost 30 years ago I adopted two daughters from Seoul, Korea. Some of your experiences have brought back alot of memories. Both my girls had skin rashes when I got them but once in a home environment all of that cleared up. My girls are grown now. Heather graduated med school last December (the highest honors in her graduating class) and now lives and works in Charleston, SC. Jenni got her masters from UT Knoxville in 2005 and teaches in Knoxville. It is a wonderful experience and you will enjoy a lot of special memories.
Best of luck to both you, Alan and Colin.

    Hi Heather,

I came across your blog through a You Tube video. First of all congratulations on your beautiful son.

I had to write because we were in Krasnoyarsk at the same time as you were to adopt our son Joey. Our court date was December 9th. We ended up coming home on Christmas night!!!

Joey is from Sosnorborsk about 30 min. away from Kras. Hotel. Just curious if Colin is from the same orphanage.

I also wanted to say how much our sons look alike!!! There are a few pictures of Colin that I had to do some double takes of!!!

    Anyway have a wonderful day,
    Lita
