Sweeps and Smiles for the Camera

27 Mar

Colin smiling (er….”snarling” for the camera while sweeping at my family’s home in IMG_1788_croppedTennessee a couple of weeks ago.  He still loves to sweep. He is wearing my little brother’s cowboy boots (they are about 28 years old since my brother turns the big 30 the day after Colin’s birthday next month!).

Can you tell from this photo how excited my father is to be Colin’s Grandpa?

Colin is pictured here enjoying a visit with his Grandma Bain and Mamaw, my 100-year-old grandmother.

Colin is finally able to wear his 18 month size pants (with special support from his cloth diaper padding and a belt).  Next month, we will take him in for his 2 year old wellness check and maybe the first of the vaccinations that have been recommended.  He has had many vaccinations already while in the baby home so I’m not that concerned about his vaccination schedule.  We will do only one vaccination at a time but plan on doing most, if not all, that are recommended.  We think it will be better for him if we stagger them out and not use combo-vaccinations.

I will try to post more photos this weekend and an update on Colin’s language development.

Thanks for stopping by,

Colin is sure a sweet looking little boy and very healthy too.

Such a cutie! I love the cowboy boots. My brother’s cowboy boots from 30+ years ago are still in the tack barn too. My boys wear them whenever we go out to the farm. They just don’t make things that last so long anymore.
