Fix for Droopy Drawers…

6 Jan

Walgreens still does not have Colin’s medicine in for his giardia.  It is supposed to arrive this afternoon.  We are eager to start him on it!

Today, a terrific product I’d ordered arrived by mail.  I love the Dapper Snappers item I learned about on the Internet!  It claims to “Fix Droopy Drawers in a Snap!” and it has helped us to make Colin’s droopy 12 month pants fit just right.  It just fits in the back of his pants (through the back few loops) and it is adjustable to 4 sizes (his is on the smallest right now).  I love love love it and wish I’d had it while we were in Russia!  See

Not to scare you, but check and double check the prescription for the giardia. We had to get some for Abby, but our local Walgreens mixed in wrong and we gave Abby 5x her dosage for 2 days. Thankfully it didn’t hurt her, but I was terrified. We ended up having a special pharmacy that specializes in compunding make the prescription. Just make sure you check. Giardia is somewhat rare here in the US, especially in young children. A lot of pharmacies are not used to making the prescription in the small dosage needed for a small child.

    Just trying to help.
