Touchdown in the Land of Ice and Snow…

30 Nov

We are now in our region.  The airport parking lot was pretty slick from a snow last night.  It is 8 a.m. here, and it is still dark outside.  We just had breakfast in the hotel because we are not energetic enough yet to venture out to the grocery store.  We hope to go there later today.

We found out that we will see Colin tomorrow, Monday, December 1st.  We will have court at approximately 9:30 a.m. on December 2nd (that will be 9:30 p.m. for you all in the Eastern time zone and 8:30 p.m. for you all in the Central Time zone).

We are excited to see Colin tomorrow!  We are still nervous about our court appointment so please continue to pray that it will go smoothly and that the judge will look at our paperwork (and will listen to our answers to his/her questions) favorably.

There is one other family that know for sure is having their court date on the same day as us.  They are not with our agency.

Thanks for stopping by,

Heather and Alan

    Congratulations on making it to Kras! We’ll be praying for your good outcome on your court date and I’m sure it will be just fine! You’ll see.
    Did you like the breakfast at the hotel? We bought it for every day but at the last week we were already sick of it. But it is convenient for sure, escpecially when it is cold outside. Post some picture when you can. Good luck,
    Kris

    We are so excited for you!!!! Less than 24 hours till you are with Colin! How cold is that land of snow and ice? Know that Josh and I will be praying for you at 8:30pm tomorrow. Praying that you will feel God’s presence and have a clear mind for each question asked. Take notes—we want details. :}

    Heather and Alan,
    Only a few more hours until you see your little one again! I can still remember the excitement of that day from our 2nd trip (almost ten months ago now). Hopefully you are sleeping soundly right now in preparation for a fun and emotional day (it’s 1:41pm here, so 1:41am where you are). Praying for a blessed family reunion and a successful court appointment!
    Susan

    I am so glad you are getting closer to seeing your new son. I will pray everything goes well. It is so exciting for you both. You are getting to see a part of the world very few Americans get to see.
    All my best, Rhonda
