A Day Out in Moscow

29 Nov

We had a busy day out touring Moscow.  We went to the Kremlin and toured all the churches and other buildings there.  I don’t think we would have gotten as much out of our time at the Kremlin without our wonderful Russian guide. She was warm, kind and a lovely person to tour Moscow with! We had our photo taken in front of St. Basil’s.  It is exciting to think of doing that photo again in December with a little one with us.  We walked through the GUM (store) St. Basil's and had lunch at a food court at an underground mall near Red Square.  We had blinis (blee-nees) for lunch.  Mine was chicken and Alan’s was pork.  The blinis are similar to what we know as crepes.

We leave in just a little bit for the airport and our 9 o’clock flight to our region.  When we arrive in our region, it will be the dawn of a new day.  We will find out then whether we will first see Colin that day or the next day (Monday).

Please continue to pray for us as we travel on to our region…pray that we will be healthy and strong…Pray that we will have a successful court date on Tuesday Dec. 2nd (think Dec. 1st if you are on American time).

Hope you enjoy our Moscow photos!
